This is a classic Rail road grade pocket watch
Movement – this is a superb high quality nickel ¾ plate movement which has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator, decorated with ray damascening, gold enamel lettering, gold train wheels and raised gold jewel settings. The movement is signed “Sixty Hour, Bunn Special, Illinois Watch Co Springfield, Adjusted Temp & Six positions, Motor Barrel, 23 Jewels” # 2649566. The movement is in 85% mint condition – some light marks and sscratches
Case – the movement comes in a superb 10K gold filled case signed Rail Road model. The case has a snap on inner and a screw on back and bezel with carved edges and a thick wide stem. The rest of the case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – superb condition
Dial – the white enamel Montgomery dial is double sunk and has a full set of blue steel hands and continuous minutes with a pronounced 6 in the sub seconds dial. The dial is signed “Illinois” and is in 100% mint condition.
