10.1 Ultra Rare Mobilis TOURBILLION Pocket Watch with an unusual Dial. Open Face. 52mm. Stem Wound / Stem Set Circa 1910

In the past 20 years this only the 6th of these watches I have had for sale and I have never seen one with such a beautiful dial. This is a Swiss pocket watch. The watch has a visible Tourbillion carriage and takes one minute exactly to do one revolution The watch has been cleaned and serviced. To see the carriage rotate and the watch tick, please click on the link below: https://youtu.be/_zmjL-6wMqg Movement – because the balance is inverted, all you see when you open the back is the movement plate and winding wheels. The movement has approx 13 jewels. The plate, is signed “Mobilis” # 10671 and with the Patent cross movement and numbered 30754. The plate is in 90% mint condition – some small marks and scratches

Case – the movement comes in a gunmetal open face case. The case has a hinged back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 80% mint condition – light wear and tear with slightly faded areas common with gunmetal and a brassy bow.

Dial – the silvered metal dial has a visible Tourbillion carriage with an engraved balance bridge. The tourbillion has a 1 minute revolution with a curved regulator and a club tooth escape wheel and a lever escapement. The dial is rather beautiful with slightly raised silver flowers set against an engine turned back ground. The dial has blue steel hands and is in 95% mint condition – excellent condition The watch has a beveled mineral glass
