13.77 English Silver Watch Stand with Calendar. Birmingham 1900


This is an English silver pocket watch stand which has hallmarks for Birmingham 1900. The arched stand has two hinged parts, which open to reveal a silk lined interior. The inside has a recess for a pocket watch. It will take a watch 50mm wide. Included with this stand is a pocket watch. The watch is a key wound pocket watch retailed by H Samuel circa 1890. However the stand can be bought separately without the watch, please enquire. The front of the stand is covered with silver. On the base it has three apertures. Two of which are apertures used for the date and the longer one on the base is the month. The date function is changed by two levers on the side. The months come on 6 strips which can be interchanged depending on the month. The stand measures 90mm wide x 120mm high x 30mm deep. The stand is in 80% mint condition 1 ding on the silver on the arch, rubbing on the hallmarks and general wear
