Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a Pivoted detent escapement with a helical hairspring. The movement is jewelled to the centre and has a micrometer regulator. The movement is signed “Chronometre” and is in 90% mint condition – light marks only

Case – the movement comes in a large 14K Gold case, which has a hinged inner, back and front covers. The heavy case has an inner signed “No. 59268 Chronometre” and engraved with small medals. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition – 1 ding on the front cover – see image and the bow has lost its gold colouring and become brassy

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “Chronometre”. The dial is in 98% mint condition – superb condition The watch has a plastic glass The watch comes in an antique wooden box lined with purple velvet and silk
